Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty

Vacuum-mop combos make it easy to keep floors spotless. These machines are ideal for quick cleaning runs between deeper vacuumings.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra is a great option for those who want to mop without having to reach the machine. Its base looks bulky, but it's not unattractive. It also has large water tanks that can be used for clean and dirty water.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo J7+ takes the excellent Roomba J7 vacuum and adds the wet mopping feature. The robot can clean up sticky spills, while avoiding obstacles. It will return to its dock following its cleaning cycle. It's a great option for homes with hardwood floors and can also be used to clean rugs or tiles with multiple surfaces.

Like all Roomba models The Combo J7+ is a pro at sucking up dirt and other debris. PrecisionVision and iRobot OS help the robot to navigate intelligently. It can avoid common objects, like cords or pet messes. The iRobot Combo j7+ can even avoid furniture, such as high chairs with backs, which could catch the robot under them.

When the iRobot Combo j7+ detects that it is on a surface that needs to be cleaned it raises its arm and moves a mopping pad underneath it. It's a highly intuitive system, and it performed well during my testing. It was not able to get rid of water-based liquids such as juice or Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty wine. Fortunately the mopping pad could be easily cleaned and reused.

The camera on the front of the iRobot Combo is also useful. It can spot potential hazards like power cables and pet waste and will steer clear of them to ensure a thorough clean. This feature works better than the cameras found on other robot vacuums that tend to get caught up in things like rug tassels. It's worth noting, however, that the iRobot Combo ju7+'s front camera is susceptible to blind spots and could miss certain objects.

The iRobot Combo ju7+ may be costly, but its performance is good enough to justify the cost. It has a high customer rating, and customers love its clever features. However, it's worth looking at alternatives, like the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. It's cheaper than the iRobot Combo h7+ and can heed voice commands without the necessity of third-party integration as it can mop and vacuum with one swipe. Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision

The Scout RX3 Home Vision robot vacuum and mop is a complete robot vacuum that has all the features you'd expect of an expensive brand. You can remotely monitor your home through its camera and even watch the process through the app (though the app itself does not offer the high-resolution image quality you can get from the camera).

The mops are great at their job of cleaning tile or wood floors, as well as rug surfaces, as well as removing dirt, dust and pet hair. They also have effective obstacle avoidance that doesn't push small and lightweight objects, like toys or socks, across the floor. It's the best robot vacuum for pet hair self emptying mopping robot we've evaluated. It comes with a magnet strip that can be used to block off areas where the robot will not be able reach, like rooms with a lot of cables.

Unfortunately, the robot isn't equipped with other features that are expected from the type of robot it is. While the mops do a fantastic job, their maximum runtime is 60 minutes which is a bit less than what we'd like to see on an expensive product. Also, it doesn't automatically empty itself into its charging station or follow up a mopping session with a quick vacuum.

It's a great choice for those with large homes, as the cleaning and mapping process are quick and efficient. The app is easy to navigate, and you can also set up time frames for when it will operate. You can still use the remote to control the device if you do not have a strong WIFI connection.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision is costly but it has many smart features that make up for the price. The live monitoring of your home is fantastic and it looks cool too. It's a great choice for families with children, pets, or anyone who wants to monitor their home while away. The majority of people who own a robotic mop and vacuum combo are amazed at the changes their floors look after using them often.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra

Roborock's newest robot mop and vacuum that self-empty model, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon), is a great upgrade over the already excellent S6 and S7 models. It comes with a variety of useful features, including more aggressive mopping as well as higher-powered suction (up to 5,100Pa, compared to earlier models with 2,400Pa). It also has precise lidar navigation that works as radar in 3D that is, it can detect things like baseboards, chairs and furniture legs to efficiently maneuver around them. It can also create customized cleaning routines you can initiate by tapping, such as an "After Meals mode" that intensively vacuums and scrubs the kitchen floors.

This two-in-one also has a special feature not found on most other robots: VibraRise, which raises the mopping plates when it detects carpeting, so it doesn't get the area rug wet, making mopping more efficient. It also has a special deep-cleaning mode that mops and vacuums carpets in one go cleaning more dirt and dust than spinning mops can. You can also make use of the app to create a schedule for regular cleaning or clean on the go.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks but it's not without a few drawbacks. The most important is the price. It's the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combination I've reviewed. The other issues are less specific to this model, but more indicative of the robotic vacuums in general: it doesn't handle heavy spills or sticky messes with ease.

The S7 Max Ultra is easy to setup: just connect it and then sync it to your phone using Wi-Fi and start a cleaning run. Once you've done this, you can modify its settings in the app, such as setting no-go zones, and scheduling cleanings.

Another benefit is its outstanding obstacle avoidance system. It only slid into tight spaces twice, which is superior to the S6 MaxV's three tries or the X1 Omni’s four tries. The app lets you mark an object as a temporary obstruction and the S7 Max Ultra ignores it when it comes to cleaning.

Narwal Freo

The Narwal Freo is one of the few robots that incorporate vacuuming and mops into its design. It's also among the more affordable combo bots in our review. The Freo's impressive cleaning efficiency and a wide range of customization options make it a great choice for any home that needs a combination cleaner. However, the absence of advanced obstacle avoidance and an elegant app dampened our enthusiasm for this model.

The first step to get the Freo running is a quick scan of your space which helps it determine the space it will cover when cleaning. This process will take about one minute. Once the Freo has a better understanding of where everything is, it will be better able to navigate during subsequent cleanings.

Another great feature is Freo's ability to identify a room as either dry vacuuming or mopping so it can be more efficient in switching between these two functions. It's also smart enough to detect the mop pads are dirty and will automatically return to the dock for a refill, then head back out to dry clean hard surfaces.

One of the strengths of the Freo is its ability to mop and vacuum well on carpets. The twin mop pads automatically raise when the Freo comes into contact with carpet. This lets it make use of less energy and resources while still removing debris. It is also able to thoroughly clean up sand and oatmeal spills without the need for multiple vac/mop runs.

The Freo's tilted side-brush is inspired by street sweepers and does a great job at attracting and sweeping up dirt particles. The rounded body and high-end finish give the Freo an eye-catching look. You can interact with the robot using an LCD touchscreen on its base station, but we prefer to control it via the app on your smartphone.

The app has a range of options to customize Freo's behavior. This includes schedules for busy areas as well as spot cleanings. There is also the option to turn on the parental lock. You can also select the length of time it takes for the Freo to air dry its mop pads and how often you want it to empty its dust bin. You can set the maximum size of the trash bin.
